10 most expensive Georgian footballers
Europeans mainly transfer to USA to play football in the decline of their carrier. However, for Vako Kazaishvili situation is just the opposite. As from the next year, one of the leaders of the Georgia National Team will be defending honor of San Jose Earthquakes. The cost of this transfer, according to unofficial sources, is 2 mln euros. And before the transfer market warms up even more, we decided to present the top ten most expensive Georgian footballers:
Number 10 on the list is Valeri Gvalia. He is playing in BATE Borisov and his price is 900 000 euros. 9th and 8th positions are held by the captain of the Georgian National Team Jaba Kankava and young forward Giorgi Kvilitaia, whose price is 1 mln euros.
Giorgi Loria is in 7th position, whose market price has lowered to 1,2 mln euros. Unlike him, the price of another Georgian goalkeeper Giorgi Makaridze has significantly increased and made 1,5 mln euros, which makes him #6 on the list. Makaridze is participating in the Championship of Portugal and, recently, journalists have linked his name to Benfica, one of the most popular Portuguese teams.
Number five is Tornike Okriashvili, whose market price is 1,6 mln euros. Compared to the last year, his price has gone down by 300 000 euros, which is mainly because of his traumas.
4th position is held by Guram Kashia. The price for the captain of Dutch Vitesse is 2,5 mln euros.
24-year-old Jano Ananidze is 3rd in the rating. This year he became the champion of Russia. His price varies within the limits of 3 mln.
Experts come up with the same price for Vako Kazaishvili. Compared to the last year, his price has reduced by 500 000 euros.
And finally, Solomon Kvirkvelia, who is the leader of the list: the transfer price for the 25-year-old outer back of the Georgia National Team is 3,5 mln euros. In 2016, Kvirkvelia’s transfer price was 5 mln euros.
The total cost for the top ten expensive Georgian footballers makes 17,7 mln euros, which is some 20 mln euros less than the price for the Armenia National Team and Manchester United player Henrik Mkhitaryan.
