The Tbilisi City Court partially satisfied the suit of 27 plaintiffs against Maestro Studio, Ltd. Namely, the court filed to void the discharge orders and made a decision that the defendant should pay financial compensation to the plaintiffs. The case concerned the suit filed by 27 employees of BMG, fired by Maestro Studio in 2016.
On 31st May 2016, Zurab Nakeuri, Director of Maestro TV Company, fired Giorgi Isakadze, the author of Sakmiani Dila (Business Morning), Bizneskontakti and Analitika TV show projects. On 2nd June, Maestro Studio also fired journalists and producers of the above TV shows.
