Shaping Justice Through Expertise

Before founding Zentner Law, Mr. Zentner served as an assistant attorney general for the Kansas Attorney General’s Office, where he prosecuted complex crimes, including homicides, human trafficking and public corruption. He also trained and mentored prosecutors, sharing his expertise in managing challenging cases. His earlier experience includes working as an assistant county attorney for the Leavenworth County Attorney’s Office, where he contributed to legislative advancements by drafting House Bill 2442, which increased penalties for repeat offenders in police pursuits.

Mr. Zentner earned a Bachelor of Arts in speech communication and rhetoric with a minor in Spanish from the University of Utah and a Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in Kansas, Missouri, and the Federal District of Kansas. A lifelong learner, he is actively involved in professional organizations, including the National Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association and the Kansas Bar Association.

Championing Justice and Community Impact

In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Zentner has authored several notable publications, such as “Child Sexual Abuse Cases – A Prosecutor’s Guide to Child Sex Crimes” and “The Visual Trial: Using PowerPoint to Beat the CSI Effect.” He has also delivered presentations on ethical duties in human trafficking cases and advanced trial strategies.

Recognized for his contributions, Mr. Zentner has been named a Top 100 National Trial Lawyer, a Top 10 Criminal Defense Attorney by MyLegalWin and one of the Top 10 Under 40 by the National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys.

Outside his professional life, Mr. Zentner has been an active community volunteer. He served as a host for the Salt Lake Organizing Committee during the 2002 Winter Olympics and has spent over a decade teaching youth biblical studies.
