Jennifer Esquibel Blazer, chief executive officer of Top Shelf Services LLC, has been featured in Marquis Who’s Who®. Selection is based on factors such as position, professional relevance and impact within the industry.
Top Shelf Services Earns Local and National Recognition
Mrs. Blazer founded BBP Services LLC in 2015 with the goal of delivering more than just financial reports—she wanted to create meaningful systems that empower business owners. Over time, the firm evolved into Top Shelf Services LLC, reflecting a shift to a team-driven model focused on transparency, accuracy, and solutions tailored to each client’s growth. Since its transition, Top Shelf Services has earned widespread recognition, including finalist honors for Best Accounting Firm and Best Bookkeeping by The Bulletin in 2024 and runner-up of Best Bookkeeping in 2025.
Mrs. Blazer’s leadership has also earned national acclaim. In 2023, she was named one of the World’s Most Exemplary Women Leaders in Business by World’s Leaders, and in 2022, one of the Top 10 Inspiring Leaders by IE Magazine.
Mrs. Blazer’s specialty areas include job costing for construction, grant tracking for nonprofits, payroll systems, and operational workflow design—a blend of hands-on financial management and scalable systems.
“There is a real talent gap in this space,” Mrs. Blazer says. “Too many students are funneled into CPA or audit paths, but small businesses need skilled, modern bookkeepers who can build and maintain the financial systems they rely on.”
Training the Next Generation Through Innovation
To address that gap, Mrs. Blazer is developing an online bookkeeping program designed to train new professionals through real-world application. The program mirrors her firm’s internal structure – lead bookkeepers, assistants, and client managers – and will offer paid internships, mentorship and job readiness.
Mrs. Blazer also recently launched The Sparkvice Collection, a digital resource library filled with financial templates, planners, and automated tools. Sparkvice supports entrepreneurs and side hustlers with ready-to-use resources that make managing business finances easier, faster, and more accessible.
Mrs. Blazer’s professional roots are hospitality-based. She earned a degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management from New Mexico State University, receiving the Dean’s Award of Excellence, and completed culinary coursework at Scottsdale Culinary Institute. That customer-first mindset is still central to how she runs her business.
“I did not plan on accounting – but I kept getting pulled back to it. Now I get to help others find freedom and clarity through their finances.”
Mrs. Blazer is also a co-founder of The Association, a women’s professional group offering mentoring, education, collaboration and community. When presenting, her workshops are for early-stage entrepreneurs and how to use technology as an advantage.
“Some of the best moves I’ve made came from simply asking for help. The right collaboration can change everything.”
Today, Mrs. Blazer remains focused on education, empowerment, and creating tools that help others build sustainable businesses—one system at a time.
