Another Successful Collaboration for Render Group — This Time With Kengo Kuma & Associates

Render Group partnered with Silk Development to produce the 3D visuals for the Silk Towers project. The refined architecture is by Japan’s leading studio, Kengo Kuma & Associates. To look at it more closely, the Render Group team crafted a visual narrative that gave Batumi’s new urban space a tangible identity even in the earliest stages of construction. High-end CGI and 3D animation brought to life the complex’s scale, the texture of its materials, and its harmony with the surroundings—the very aesthetic that defines Kengo Kuma’s architecture.

Silk Towers is a multifunctional complex in Batumi that blends contemporary architecture with natural elements. It introduces a new aesthetic and architectural identity to the city, closely aligned with Kengo Kuma’s signature style. The development includes residential apartments, a five-star hotel, a yacht club, retail and entertainment areas, event venues, and sports infrastructure.

For the Render Group team, this project was a special experience. Collaborating with a studio like Kengo Kuma & Associates demands top-tier professionalism, precision, and a deeply nuanced visual sensibility.

Vano Ananiashvili, Commercial Director at Render Group:
“Working on Silk Towers was an opportunity to create a product that meets global quality standards. Our team has extensive experience with international-level projects, and once again we proved that with professionalism and harmonious collaboration with partners, it’s possible to produce visualizations that do justice to major architectural names”.

Danil Davidov, Creative Director at Render Group:
“Our goal was not only to depict the architecture technically, but to convey its depth and emotion — that calm yet powerful energy characteristic of Kengo Kuma’s design. We aimed for each frame to strike a balance between light and movement. To refine the visuals, we used state-of-the-art visualization tools, with special attention to material realism, atmospheric tonality, and precise composition”.

It’s also worth noting that the branding for Silk Towers was created by the creative agency Lost & Found, a member of the Render Group holding. “Our main inspiration came from Kengo Kuma’s architecture, Japanese calligraphy, and bonsai as a symbol of harmony between nature and humanity. The key idea was to form logographic marks from tree branches, which defined the brand’s visual identity. The color palette is drawn from Kengo Kuma’s classic architectural tones, while the logo adopts a wordmark format that underscores the project’s name”, — Lost & Found Art Director, Sergi Devrishashvili.

Render Group’s contribution to the Silk Towers visuals once again demonstrates that the market today demands a high standard — one that empowers the studio to collaborate successfully with international partners through professionalism, technical precision, and aesthetic excellence. S
