Today, as comfort and aesthetics increasingly merge with technology, companies capable of transforming spaces not only functionally but emotionally as well, are gaining special importance. One such company is Aqualine, which offers a full spectrum of water technology services – from designing and constructing swimming pools and spa areas to supplying water filtration and drinking water systems. The company’s founder, Vakhtang Meskhi, explains how Aqualine, guided by innovation and uncompromising quality, creates not just infrastructure, but a true living experience.
By Iza Gvaramadze
Mr. Vakhtang, what inspired you to enter this business? Tell us about the early days of Aqualine and the challenges the newly established company had to overcome.
I founded Aqualine 20 years ago, and with over 30 years of experience in the field, I have participated in more than 1,000 projects throughout my career, both independently and through the company.
When Aqualine entered the market in 2006, the goal was clear – to introduce water technologies to Georgia at a premium quality level backed by international expertise. At the time, nothing similar existed in the local market.
The first years were full of challenges: mastering new technologies, forming a professional team, and earning customer trust. We focused on expanding our knowledge, establishing the right partnerships, and delivering projects that showcased our vision and professional capabilities.
In your opinion, what have been the key factors behind Aqualine’s success and market leadership? Was there a defining project that marked a turning point for the company?
Our success stems directly from overcoming those initial challenges, which ultimately helped Aqualine become a leading premium brand in Georgia’s water technology sector. Each obstacle was not just an experience but a motivation – proof that Georgia is capable of offering world-class products and services.
Aqualine’s success is grounded in our vision and core values, above all, a commitment to quality. We never compromise and always choose solutions that ensure reliability and comfort for the client.
Our biggest asset is our professional team – people who share the company’s values and continuously grow in their fields. We also follow global trends closely and actively implement new technologies.
What services do you currently provide to customers?
Today, Aqualine offers a complete service package in water technologies – from designing and constructing swimming pools and spa facilities to supplying filtration and drinking water systems for both individual and industrial needs. Most importantly, we handle not only installation but also ongoing technical support and maintenance.
We believe that owning a pool should bring pleasure, not stress. That’s why we also provide full pool care services and can install modern automated systems that simplify maintenance and minimize the owner’s involvement.
Which recent project stands out the most for you, and why?
Every project we complete is important, but I can highlight VR Forest Beach, which holds exceptional significance for both our company and the industry. It features a non-standard pool with cutting-edge engineering and design, creating premium-class infrastructure that blends perfectly with the natural environment.
I would also mention the White Sail project on Batumi’s first coastline, which I personally designed, as well as the recently completed Green Aqua aquapark for Lopota Spa Resort – an important development for tourism growth in the Kakheti region.

This year, Aqualine underwent a rebranding. What changed, and what is the vision behind the new identity?
In the early years, I didn’t place much importance on such details – I even created our first logo myself, spontaneously. Back then, I believed visual identity was just a formality. But as the company and the market evolved, it became clear that our brand had to reflect the character and maturity Aqualine had gained over the years.
The new identity highlights our essence more clearly – premium, refined and harmonious, supported by a carefully curated color palette.
But this change wasn’t only visual. The brand concept also evolved. The new logo and message – “Fluid Harmony: The art of water that makes life complete” – fully express our vision and aspirations.
Using premium products, Aqualine creates perfect harmony between water and space, delivering peace and comfort to users. With rebranding, the company reinforced its leadership and clearly defined its philosophy – transforming every drop of water into a complete experience.
How do you ensure quality, safety and sustainability in your daily operations?
For Aqualine, quality, safety, and environmental responsibility are not just standards but fundamental values.
Quality is guaranteed through internationally recognized brands and materials. We work only with partners whose products are well-established in leading global markets, ensuring long-term and reliable solutions for clients.
We don’t create products for short-term results. Our mission is not immediate financial gain – what matters most is client satisfaction, achieved through professional service and premium products.
Safety is always a priority. We control every detail, adhere to standards, and provide clients with precise recommendations to ensure the final result is both safe and high-quality.
Environmental responsibility is at the heart of our work. We prioritize sustainable solutions that conserve resources and ensure efficient water use.
How do you make your products equally appealing to both the HoReCa sector and individual consumers?
We aim to deliver solutions that are reliable, efficient, and attractive to both sectors. This is why every project adheres to a premium standard.
At the same time, we tailor our approach to each segment’s needs. For the HoReCa industry, we prioritize durability and systems capable of uninterrupted operation under heavy load. For private clients, we focus on aesthetics, personal comfort, and harmony.
By balancing these two directions, Aqualine is both a trusted business partner and a creator of premium personal experiences – setting a universal standard for quality and refinement in water technologies.
Which smart technologies have you implemented, and how do they simplify the customer experience?
Aqualine continuously embraces modern technologies to enhance the customer experience. For instance, Wireless Robot Pool Cleaners simplify maintenance. Automated dosing and electrolysis systems monitor and maintain water purity independently, removing the need for constant customer oversight.
We also offer lamella pool covers, which reduce contamination, improve energy efficiency, and help maintain water temperature – saving up to 50% on heating costs.
In the near future, our service team will attend a seminar at Dinotec, a German leader in advanced pool maintenance technologies. Dinotec’s smart systems unify all operations into one interactive touchscreen interface, and the company even provides an AI-powered assistant, Eva, which functions as a digital pool manager.

You mentioned the upcoming Dinotec training, so let’s ask – how do you ensure that the Aqualine team remains motivated and aligned with the company’s values?
We prioritize professional development and the creation of a harmonious work environment. Our internal branding strategy strengthens employees’ emotional connection to the company and fosters a unified culture.
Our team regularly attends training programs and international exhibitions, allowing us to learn, exchange knowledge, and implement new solutions.
We also run initiatives that strengthen teamwork and a quality-driven atmosphere – a place where everyone is genuinely proud to say they are part of Aqualine.
How important is the planning stage, and how do you ensure compliance with modern regulations?
Aqualine provides full project planning services for spa complexes, sports and private pools, jacuzzis, and saunas. The planning stage is crucial because this is where long-term quality, safety, and comfort are defined.
The process includes:
- Site analysis to understand location specifics and client needs
- Concept development to define purpose, style, and functionality
- Preliminary visualization and design
- Final architectural and technical detailing
- Complete specifications and working drawings for construction
By integrating engineering systems and architectural requirements from the beginning, we ensure compliance with modern regulations and standards, giving clients infrastructure that is not only beautiful but also safe, efficient, and technically sound.
How do you work to raise public awareness about the importance of clean water?
We have recently expanded significantly into drinking water systems. We believe this is one of our most important steps – after all, most of the human body is water, and clean, high-quality water is essential for health and well-being.
Our goal is not only to supply premium systems but also to raise public awareness. Our partnership with Ecosoft plays a key role, helping us educate people on proper water use and the value of modern filtration technologies.
We want society to recognize that purified water is not a luxury – it is a basic foundation of healthy living, hygiene, and overall wellness.

How did the partnership with Dinamo Tbilisi’s water polo team come about, and what benefits does it bring to both sides?
Discussions about sponsorship began recently, but the idea came very naturally. For us, supporting sports is not just corporate responsibility – it is a form of participation in development. We believe that if every business contributes even a little, progress will be much faster and more visible.
Water polo in Georgia is one of the sports that receives less attention than it deserves. As a company closely connected to water, we feel a special responsibility. Through this partnership, we hope to genuinely support athletes, increase public interest, and contribute to the promotion of the sport.
Finally, what new developments should we expect from Aqualine in the near future?
Our future plans focus on continuous growth. In the coming period, the product portfolio will expand significantly – with new brands and entirely new categories aimed at offering customers an even richer choice for comfort and relaxation.
Long-term, the company aims to strengthen its market position further – expand its presence across different regions of Georgia, improve access to products, maintain high standards of quality, and continue enhancing customer experience with innovative, modern solutions.
