Alexandria J Crouthamel’s Exceptional Service as an Attorney at Law

Going to court can be a trying and turbulent time for many, with heightened emotions and anxiety. This can be even more severe for parents facing custody battles in family court. One law professional serves clients in this field of law with aggressive representation and a dogged determination to help families achieve justice.

Alexandria J Crouthamel, Esq., has been aiding families in Pennsylvania through her exceptional career as an attorney at law. Ms. Crouthamel’s achievements in the field of law have earned her various awards and acclaim, including being named a Marquis Who’s Who Top Professional.

Discovering a Passion for Law

When Ms. Crouthamel first pursued her undergraduate degree, she elected to study forensic science. However, spending long periods in a lab did not suit her. As a social person, she preferred to work among other people. Her grandmother then suggested that she intern for a mutual friend, a Court of Common Pleas judge.

Interning at the prison once a week proved to be a transformative experience for Ms. Crouthamel. She decided to work within the court system and attend law school. In 2015, she graduated from Alvernia University, a private university in Reading, Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Science in forensic science and a minor in criminal justice.

Ms. Crouthamel later obtained a Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law, a private law school in Wilmington, Delaware, in 2019.

Ambitions in the Field of Law

Upon graduation, Ms. Crouthamel was admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and through the U.S. District Courts of the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, and the Supreme Court of the United States. She worked as a public defender for Northampton County from 2020 to 2024. As an ambitious young professional, Ms. Crouthamel made a decisive career choice when she opened her private law practice at 27.

“It was a big gamble,” Ms. Crouthamel reflects. “I would attribute my success to my self-motivation.”

Since 2022, she has served her clients as an attorney at Crouthamel Law Offices.

Serving Her Clients With Pride

Ms. Crouthamel’s law office handles many cases regarding family and custody law. She has served many parents who face wrongful convictions of child abuse. In one case, a mother was accused of harming her child with shaken baby syndrome. Although these charges were later dropped, the mother was taken away from her child for four years, and Ms. Crouthamel’s office is suing on behalf of this client.

In carrying out her daily duties, Ms. Crouthamel often spends eight to 10 hours a day in court. She drafts legal documents, attends hearings, conferences, and trials, meets with clients, performs negotiations, and more.

Ms. Crouthamel takes pride in her law office’s emphasis on client communication and customer service. She is aggressive in her representation and straightforward and honest with her clients.

“People like honesty and straightforwardness,” she asserts. “Because I’m aggressive and honest, I do get very favorable results.”
