On June 20, Forbes Georgia hosted an exclusive event, CREATIVITY MEETS TECH, at the Stamba Hotel Rooftop. The event was held as part of Global Tech Weekend 2025.
The gathering brought together leaders from the technology, finance, and creative industries. The goal of the event was to connect influential figures from different sectors and facilitate knowledge-sharing.
Speaking about the concept of the event, Shota Dighmelashvili, Editor-in-Chief of Forbes Georgia, stated:
“Technology is not only changing our way of life, but also how we tell stories, how we connect with one another, and how we do business. At Forbes Georgia, we have consciously prioritized a digital and tech-oriented vision—not only in publishing but also in how we connect people, ideas, and industries.”
He added that CREATIVITY MEETS TECH is a natural continuation of Forbes Georgia’s vision to not only respond to trends but to help shape the region’s technological agenda.
Attendees had the opportunity to engage in two key segments of the event:
Superstar Panel, where speakers shared their insights on innovation and technology.
Ask Me Anything, a Q&A format featuring investors.
Panel participants included:
Helen Huang – Founder of Enrich Fiscal Fitness, who has been active in the field of financial education and social impact for years.
Tomo Moriwaki – Design Director at Hyperkinetic Studios and one of the creators behind legendary video games such as Call of Duty, Spider-Man, and Medal of Honor.
Dan Herman – Professor at the University of Toronto and strategic advisor with a focus on technology, geopolitics, and culture.
The panel was moderated by Tengiz Meskhi, Founder and CEO of Conceptdigital.
In the final part of the event, the audience had the chance to ask questions to a panel of investors:
Israel Pons – Co-founder of Pitch to the World / CCG Labs
Bibi Wickman – Founder of PlayCap Investments
Marcel Dridje – Board Member of EBAN
According to guests of CREATIVITY MEETS TECH, initiatives like this are essential for strengthening the region’s tech and cultural ecosystem.
Event sponsors included: BAG, NS Studio, Project X, and Schuchmann.
At the beginning of the year, Forbes Georgia made events a strategic priority. The events held so far, including Forbes Georgia Kickoff 2025, the 2025 Women’s Conference focused on empowering female leaders, the Forbes Georgia Banking Conference, and CREATIVITY MEETS TECH, held as part of Global Tech Weekend Tbilisi, have brought together many individuals interested in technology, innovation, and experience-sharing.
These initiatives reflect the broader Forbes mission: to give people the knowledge, resources, inspiration, and connections they need to achieve success. By creating platforms that unite industry leaders, innovators, and visionaries, Forbes Georgia continues to foster dialogue and collaboration that shape the future of the region.
