Held in Baku on September 29–30, 2025, the INMerge Innovation Summit has officially concluded with a dynamic exchange of ideas, bringing together global thought leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs.
In the first half of the day, Mark Randolph, co-founder of Netflix, shared insights into the company’s journey from a simple idea to a globally successful business. He also offered valuable advice for startups on the critical factors to consider when building and scaling a business. A panel session focused on the role of experimentation and creative systems in shaping the future featured leading voices, including Jalal Gasimov, CEO of PASHA Holding; Mark Randolph, co-founder of Netflix; Hal Gregersen, professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology; and Ed Catmull, co-founder of Pixar.
Throughout the day, a series of keynote talks and panel discussions explored a diverse range of themes, including the state of venture capital in the region, the influence of marketing and social media on local business and culture, the emergence of artificial intelligence as a modern-day reality, and the intersection of data and the energy sector with contemporary business trends.
Leaders participating in these sessions highlighted the importance of aligning local experiences with global trends and emphasized the need for proactive, future-ready strategies in an evolving world.
The Summit concluded with the InBattle Startup Awards, where 40 startups from different countries competed for recognition. Among them, MULK PROTOCOL was awarded the top prize, showcasing the region’s growing startup ecosystem and entrepreneurial spirit.
Now in its fifth edition, the INMerge Innovation Summit is a major regional event organized by PASHA Holding that brings together key stakeholders from the innovation ecosystem, including startups, investors, and corporations from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and other countries in the region. With over 5,000 participants, 150 speakers, 100 startups, and more than 80 venture funds, the summit serves as a powerful platform for cross-border collaboration and sustainable growth in the innovation ecosystem.
