The majority of cell phone subscribers prefer Samsung cell phones. According to the Georgian National Communications Commission of Georgia, 31% (1,6 mln subscribers) of cell phone users use Samsung cell phones.
Samsung is followed by Microsoft/Nokia with 19%, iPhone with 11% and Huawei with 9%.
According to the statistics of the Communications Commission, Magticom is the leader in the market with the number of cell phone subscribers. As of 18th of June, the company has 1,963,137 cell phone subscribers.
In terms of a number of subscribers, number two is Geocel with 1,803,218 subscribers, followed by Beeline with 1,097,878, Silknet with 15,170 and G-mobile with 752 subscribers.
