Where are the most expensive hotels in Georgia
In July 2018, the prices for standard double rooms most increased in Adjara – by 10,1% and Samtskhe-Javakheti – by 5,9%. Hotel priced reduced only in Tbilisi – by 1,2%. According to the PMGG research, in July, the average price for a room in a 3* hotel made 148 GEL, 4* - 245 GEL, 5* - 455 GEL, while the price for guest houses is 72 GEL.
The highest average prices for 3-star hotels among regions are in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 180 GEL and Adjara – 156 GEL. It is notable that in July, the average price of 3* hotels of the above regions reached the maximum of the last 10 months (October-July). In July, the lowest prices for 3* hotels were in KemoKartli – 89 GEL and Imereti – 110GEL.
The highest average prices for 4* hotels were registered in Samtskhe-Javakheti – 297 GEL and Kakheti – 289 GEL. In July, the average prices for 4* hotels in Samtskhe-Javakheti and Kakheti reached the maximum of the last 10 months. In July, among 4* hotels, with lowest prices were distinguished hotels in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 155 GEL and Imereti – 219GEL.
The average price for 5* hotels in July was 455 GEL. In Tbilisi, in hotels of this type, the average price for a standard double room was 518 GEL, in Samtskhe-Javakheti – 443 GEL, in Adjara – 432 GEL and in Kakheti – 408 GEL. The prices for 5* hotels in Adjara and Samtske-Javakheti reached the maximum of the last 10 months. In Tbilisi, during the last ten months, the highest average price for 5* hotels was registered in October, in Kakheti – in June.
