In August, tourism revenue decreased by 10.6%
According to NBG data in August revenues from tourism dropped down by 10.6% compared to the same period of 2018.
In the first eight months of the year, revenues from tourism exceeded $ 2 billion and totaled $ 2 billion 227 million.
Revenues from tourism were decreased in July to $ 374.7 million, which is 13.3% compared to the same period of the previous year.
However, the number of tourists in July and August was increased. In particular, there was 1% growth in July and 2% in August. In August, the number of foreign visitors was increased by 5.8%.
