E-auto, the sole official representative of HONGQI electric vehicles in Armenia and Georgia, has opened the automotive brand’s largest center in the region in Yerevan, with an investment of around $5 million.
The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Economy Narek Hovakimyan and Lu Zhiguang, Deputy General Manager for Eastern Europe at FAW, HONGQI’s parent company.
The new complex at 40/3 Rubinyants Street has a total area of nearly 3,000 square meters and houses HONGQI’s flagship showroom, a service center and a specialized vehicle painting facility under one roof. The company also operates a warehouse of around 2,500 square meters to ensure a constant supply of necessary spare parts.
Shortly after introducing HONGQI in Armenia, E-auto managed not only to become a leader in the official electric vehicle import market, but also to establish a complete infrastructure covering everything from vehicle sales to warranty and post-warranty servicing.
In 2025, E-auto imported around 800 electric vehicles into Armenia, accounting for around 35% of electric vehicles imported by official representatives. In 2026, the company continues to maintain its leading position, having imported around 500 electric vehicles to date. E-auto aims to surpass last year’s figure by the end of the year.
“This rapid growth is a major achievement for us, but at the same time, it is a major responsibility. Our work does not end with the sale of a vehicle: customers need to be confident that whenever they have any issue related to their vehicle, they have one place where they can receive comprehensive, specialized and reliable service.
“With an investment of around $5 million, we have created this infrastructure in Armenia for every HONGQI driver,” said Gevorg Aghajanyan, co-founder and CEO of E-auto.
The new center is equipped with all the necessary modern equipment for the technical inspection, servicing and repair of HONGQI electric vehicles, as well as a vehicle painting facility where factory technologies and standards are used to ensure high-quality results.
“In recent years, the policy of promoting the import and use of electric vehicles has been among the priorities of the Ministry of Economy, with VAT and customs duty exemptions provided for this purpose. Today’s event also demonstrates that we are on the right path.
“The role of official representatives of international companies is important not only in importing quality vehicles, but also in developing infrastructure, establishing a system of responsibility and providing warranties,” said Deputy Minister of Economy Narek Hovakimyan.
E-auto’s rapid development is continuing beyond Armenia’s borders as well. Following its performance in 2025, the company became HONGQI’s official representative in Georgia at the beginning of 2026, taking its successfully implemented business model in the Armenian market to the regional level.

E-auto’s addresses in Yerevan are 40/3 Rubinyants Street and 138/4 Davit Bek Street. The company provides an official warranty for HONGQI electric vehicles of up to 8 years or 150,000 kilometers.
In cooperation with almost all leading banks operating in Armenia, E-auto also offers its customers special car loan options, starting with a 0% down payment.
