“Most people are not lacking motivation; they are overwhelmed by unclear routines and inconsistent guidance,” says Egehan Özsoy, founder of Coachify AI. “Coachify was built to bring structure to people who want to stay consistent but do not know where to begin.” That realization became the cornerstone of Coachify AI. While many fitness apps offer rigid, one-size-fits-all programs, Özsoy has developed a platform that adapts to a user’s fluctuating schedule, feedback, and performance.

Early Beginnings and Vision

He started freelancing at 18, earning $130 an hour on Upwork. Working with early-stage startups has given him more than just coding experience. It has allowed him to observe product decision-making closely.

Though initially hired for software roles, Özsoy frequently contributed to design and growth strategies. He later dropped out of college to focus full-time on building his venture. “I learned building real products in three months more than in a year of formal education,” he shares, reflecting on how Coachify AI became his primary focus.

The Birth of Coachify AI

Coachify launched in 2023 as a mobile and web-based fitness technology app that creates customized workout and nutrition plans based on user input. Rather than assigning users a fixed plan, the app evaluates soreness, energy levels, and available equipment to deliver evolving workout suggestions. That vision ultimately shaped Coachify AI’s core development. Özsoy developed the concept when AI platforms were beginning to show real potential beyond entertainment or text generation.

Hiring a personal trainer remains cost-prohibitive for many, with sessions ranging from $50 to $150 each. Coachify addresses that issue. For individuals unable to afford personal coaching, the app has become a cost-effective tool that still provides structured support. “We created something that feels personal but scales like software,” Özsoy says.

Currently, Özsoy handles company strategy and marketing, primarily through influencer partnerships that have broadened the platform’s reach, while a small team of contractors manages engineering and design.

What Makes Coachify Different

Many fitness apps emphasize one niche. Whether meal tracking or motivational content, Coachify integrates several aspects of wellness: adaptive workouts, nutrition suggestions, and recovery tracking. These offer a holistic and practical experience.

A key advantage lies in its user onboarding. New users are not left guessing where to begin. For example, a first-time gym-goer can open the app, set basic goals, and receive a fully tailored weekly plan based on fitness level and available equipment. This eliminates guesswork and lowers the barrier to consistency.

Internal data shows that Coachify AI keeps users engaged longer than most fitness platforms. Özsoy attributes that to intuitive design features such as personalized feedback, motivational reminders, and interactive progress tracking.

Standing Out in a Growing Market

According to market research, the AI-powered fitness space will reach $25.4 billion by 2025, reflecting demand for affordable, customized coaching. Both startups and legacy brands are now competing in this space.

Coachify is ranked among the top five percent of AI fitness technology platforms worldwide, according to Tracxn. It holds the 33rd spot among 775 global companies and remains self-funded. Competitors such as Fitterfly have raised multimillion-dollar rounds. Özsoy, by contrast, built Coachify organically. “Being bootstrapped forced us to focus on efficiency from the start. We did not have the luxury to spend without knowing how to earn it back,” he points out.

Coachify’s Future

Coachify’s next phase focuses on two primary areas. The first is predictive training, where future app versions will analyze past workout data to anticipate plateaus and adjust training plans accordingly. This feature helps users increase workout consistency by 17 percent in early testing. The second area is geographic expansion. The app is being localized for users across North America, Asia, and Europe, with adaptations in language, dietary preferences, and culturally relevant workouts.“The fitness space does not need another flashy app. It needs tools to help people start and maintain healthy habits,” Özsoy said. Coachify AI remains committed to providing practical solutions for fitness consistency.

From writing code in his bedroom to running a globally accessible fitness technology platform, Özsoy’s trajectory reflects a growing wave of young entrepreneurs using AI to solve consumer problems. Coachify AI is not just a fitness technology product. It is a case study of how lean, focused innovation can change industries.
