- The new major deal forms part of Tegeta Holding’s long-term strategy to strengthen its transport monitoring and fleet management technologies.
- As a result of this integration, customers will benefit from more efficient and data-driven services.
Tegeta Holding is expanding its range of modern technological and digital solutions, making fleet ownership easier for corporate clients. The leading automotive company has partnered with GeoGPS, a prominent GPS operator. Together, Tegeta and GeoGPS will provide services based on international best practices, ensuring a systematic approach and full accountability in fleet management. The agreement has already come into effect and was formalized at Tegeta’s office in the Customs Clearance Zone.

Ekaterine Kavtaradze, Chief Executive Officer of Tegeta Holding: “Our development strategy focuses on creating a customer-centric and data-driven ecosystem. Integrating a highly reliable telematics system company into Tegeta Holding represents a logical and coherent extension of this approach, opening up the opportunity to provide customers with more efficient solutions for transport monitoring and fleet management. We believe that this expansion represents a significant step for the company, and clearly demonstrates our commitment to being at the forefront of innovation and creating long-term, sustainable value for our businesses and partners.”
Negotiations between the two companies began last spring, and were successfully concluded within just a few months. The agreement reflects years of experience, reliability, and a shared vision for developing a new platform that meets the evolving needs of enterprises of all sizes. This next-generation fleet management service goes beyond traditional GPS monitoring, offering integrated solutions such as continuous monitoring of vehicle condition, fuel consumption and operational cost analysis, driver behavior evaluation, and improvements in safety and efficiency.
Nikoloz Khidureli, Chief Financial Officer of Tegeta Holding: “This collaboration is part of our financial strategy to allocate capital efficiently and invest in promising areas. Integrating GPS services strengthens our regular income streams and builds a financially sustainable platform. At the same time, it positions us as a market leader by offering a modern, comprehensive, and systemically developed service.
Our long-standing collaboration with GeoGPS has shown us the quality of their products, standards, and management approach. By working together, we can achieve our objectives and make effective fleet management a foundation for our clients’ business continuity.”
As part of the integrated service, customers receive data-driven tools that enable informed and timely decisions regarding vehicle maintenance, cost reduction, safety improvement, and productivity enhancement. The platform is designed to provide real, tangible value, applicable to all vehicle types, including passenger cars, trucks, and special-purpose vehicles. Fleet owners can access a full package of maintenance services, spare parts, monitoring tools, and business intelligence insights.
Davit Mumladze, Founder and Director of GeoGPS: “From the very beginning of our communication with Tegeta, it was clear that this was more than a financial transaction. Both parties shared a vision for the future of fleet management. GeoGPS has led fleet monitoring in Georgia for many years, but to scale the business, we needed a partner with infrastructure, reach, and strong corporate connections. Tegeta Holding holds a unique position in this regard, as they are trusted by thousands of businesses and are actively innovating in the automotive and transportation industries. It is crucial for GeoGPS to maintain technological independence while collaborating with Tegeta to deliver integrated solutions that combine vehicles, services, data, and analytics in one system.”
The agreement is now in effect, allowing customers to benefit from Tegeta’s advanced service offerings. With ongoing development, the company continues to lead the technological transformation of the transportation sector, and shape a new future for business fleet management.
