The ABBA Awards marked a new step by presenting the list of the Top 20 restaurants and cafés in Georgia. In collaboration with Forbes Kazakhstan (Tan Media Group) and Forbes Georgia, the independent gastronomic ranking held its first cross-border ceremony at Art Gallery Noblesse in Tbilisi, bringing together representatives of the regional hospitality industry.
The awards recognized 20 flagship establishments in Tbilisi and across Georgia’s regions, selected through a rigorous evaluation of cuisine, service, and atmosphere. This expansion into the Georgian market follows the award’s massive success in Kazakhstan, aiming to establish a transparent, expert-led benchmark that connects the business and culinary communities of both nations.
Beyond the formal rankings, the evening transformed into a vibrant celebration of the hospitality community, characterized by high-stakes engagement and unique rewards for the guests.
Fly to Almaty with Air Astana: During the ceremony, Air Astana launched a creative challenge for Georgian food enthusiasts. The airline is offering a Tbilisi–Almaty–Tbilisi round-trip ticket to a guest who documents their journey through the new rankings. To qualify, participants must visit 10 of the recognized Top 20 locations, capture a selfie that reflects each venue’s unique atmosphere, and share their experiences using the hashtag #ABBAAWARDSGEORGIA.
Artistic Surprises: The evening’s host, Art Gallery Noblesse, merged the worlds of fine art and fine dining by offering three distinguished works from its collection. These pieces were awarded to lucky guests through a random draw, adding a prestigious cultural dimension to the night’s festivities.
The successful realization of this cross-border event was made possible by the support of our dedicated partners. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to:
