Visa Appoints Sergii Martynchuk as Senior Vice President and Group Country Manager for Ukraine, Moldova, Southern and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the Caucasus

Visa (NYSE: V), a global leader in digital payments, today announced the appointment of Sergii Martynchuk as Senior Vice President and Group Country Manager for Ukraine, Moldova, Southern and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the Caucasus region. Based in Kyiv, Martynchuk will have overall responsibility for Visa’s operations and strategy in 17 countries.

Sergii Martynchuk succeeds Cristina Doros, who has assumed a new global role within Visa Value Added Services and recently relocated to Visa’s headquarters in San Francisco, United States. He will focus on strengthening partnerships with financial institutions, merchants, technology and government partners, while accelerating the adoption of digital payments across the region.

Martynchuk brings nearly two decades of senior regional leadership experience across the region, most recently with Cisco, combining deep expertise in technology‑driven transformation with a strong track record of execution and people leadership. He has led large organizations, driving growth and building trusted relationships with clients, partners and regulators, and holds an academic background in Computer Science and Finance.
