Optio, the country’s leading Customer Engagement Platform, today announced it has closed its $1M funding round from private investors. The funding will accelerate development of Optio’sSaaS delivery model and support its expansion into new markets across the region.
“This funding round lets us continue working on what we have proven in Georgia and take it further” said Shota Giorgobiani, Co-Founder and CEO of Optio. “We started as an on-premise platform trusted by the country’s largest financial institutions. Now we are making our product more accessible for other industries and expanding our international presence to serve a much wider market.“
The SaaS model means a new delivery channel for companies beyond the financial sector, ones that require faster rollout and have less regulation, including ecommerce, retail, pharma, and healthcare. Optio will keep serving and growing its on-premise, enterprise client base, and plans to invest even more in those relationships going forward. The new funding round is fuel for faster product development to stay ahead of competitors and ship more innovations and automation to marketers around the world.
