Lisi Development's New Hotel — Buknari Hotel — Welcomes Its First Guests This June

The international-standard hotel is opening in Buknari, a new resort district on the Black Sea coast, just 15 minutes from Batumi, in one of Adjara’s most unique locations.

The 100-room hotel features a restaurant, indoor pool, conference facilities, spa, lounge, and massage rooms. The outdoor infrastructure includes a padel court, walking trails, and recreational zones.

Buknari Hotel sits on the first line of the Black Sea coast — between a subtropical forest and the sea. Guests have direct access to one of the finest beaches on the coastline, and every room opens to panoramic views of the Black Sea and the mountains of Adjara.

Lisi Development’s investment in the project totals USD 20 million. The hotel employs 120+ local and international professionals, ensuring operations at the highest international standard. The architectural design is the work of the globally recognized British studio Architects of Invention.

The hotel is the first phase of the Buknari Resort development. Lisi Development owns 9 hectares of land on the site and is working with leading architectural studios on the long-term masterplan — including British firm WATG, Spanish firm Leku, and Georgian firm TIMM.

Subsequent phases of the Buknari Resort development include residential apartment blocks, where buyers will have the opportunity to purchase premium-class apartments. The masterplan also envisions the full development of the coastal strip, including a Beach Club, children’s entertainment zones, commercial spaces, and a range of multi-functional facilities.

With the Buknari project, Lisi Development’s goal is to create a new center of attraction — the finest Black Sea experience Georgia has to offer. Just as, 15 years ago, it created a unique district in Tbilisi — the Lisi Green Town — and laid the foundation for Georgia’s largest recreational zone, Lisi Lake.

Lisi’s projects are built in collaboration with nature, coherent architecture and well-organized infrastructure — so that people can spend more time with family, rest, and feel a sense of balanced living in their everyday lives. The company was the first on the Georgian market to establish the 80/20 principle in 2010: in Lisi’s projects, 80% of the land is dedicated to greenery and recreation, and only 20% is occupied by buildings.
