Disneyland Single-Day Tickets Rise Above $200 For The First Time Ever

Disneyland introduced a tiered ticket pricing system that has placed some one-day passes at over $200 for the first time in history.

The five-tiered system is based on guest demand, reported the Los Angeles Times, and a single-day ticket now ranges from $104 on less crowded days to $209 for the most popular days.

Annual pass prices were hiked as well, with the lower-tier Select Pass rising from $399 to $419, and the Premier Pass (which gives unlimited access to Florida’s Walt Disney World as well as Disneyland) now priced at $2,199, up from $1,949.

Located in Anaheim, California, Disneyland is the Walt Disney Co.’s original theme park that was opened in July 1955. In the decades since, Disney’s theme parks business has expanded across the globe with locations in Florida, France, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo, and pulled in $26.2 billion in 2019 revenue.
