In the National Cybersecurity Index (NCSI), Georgia ranks 19th – the index is calculated by the E-governance Academy and it analyses data of 100 countries.
The index calculated the readiness of different countries to avoid and prevent cyber-attacks. Georgia earned 64.94 rating points of 100, as a result of which it holds 19th position in the world. For the level of digital development, Georgia has 59.66 rating points.
The leader of the rating is France with 83.12 rating points, followed by Germany – 83.12 points and Estonia – 81.82 points. Georgia is ahead of Italy, Russia, Norway, Luxemburg, USA, etc. Georgia’s result is also the best among the countries of the region. This was the first when Georgia was covered by the ranking.
