Strategic Communications Programme to be offered at the Tbilisi School of Communications

The Strategic Communications course offers 8 subjects and entails 80 sessions which will take place at Biltmore’s amphitheater.

Tbilisi School of Communication has already started accepting students for the Strategic Communication Programme. The programme is aimed at experienced personnel encompassing 80 sessions over the course of six months.

“Our main goal is to create an educational platform which will help the participants learn all the necessary instruments in-depth that they can later apply to their professional life. The course is intended for those interested or already working in marketing and want to deepen their knowledge. It is aimed at owners of companies, managers and all the professionals who understand the importance of the role marketing communications play in managing the organisations” – states Levan Gomshiashvili the executive director of the school.

The Tbilisi school of communications established a faculty where all the lecturers put syllabus and curriculum together to build on each other’s classes to deliver a coherent educational experience.

International professionals will also be involved in teaching the course as guest speakers.

Among such guest speakers will be Jennifer Wong, who is in Forbes’ list of best marketing professionals 30 and under. She is the marketing lead of a startup company Convoy, which is said to be worth one billion.

Furthermore, Siby Thomas will also hold lectures –  sponsorships and partnerships Lead at Dubai Opera. During her two years with Dubai Opera, she secured sponsorship contracts with brands such as Apple, Jaguar, MasterCard, Christian Dior, Bvlgari, Hermes, and Pandora.

The former Eretra Museum Gallery Director and Senior Vice President at Sila Sveta Pauline Zakh will also be teaching. She works with Lamborghini, BMW and the singer Drake.

With regards to the local team of lecturers, Tbilisi School of Communication assembled exceptional professionals with extensive and successful experience within the Georgian market. For example, Natia Svanadze founder of the famous Giovanni Morra and the team leader of consumer experience at Space. Giorgi Mirzikashvili one of the founders of Optio.ai will teach participants product innovation. Gaga Darsalia founder of multi-award winning agency Redberry will lead the digital marketing component. 

The head of Strategy at Holmes&Watson Ucha Urushadze will introduce the participants to the brand-platform creation methods. Ucha has created numerous influential works such as the TBC Brand strategy and campaigns Gamarjoba and Shen.

Sulkhan Latsabidze will teach the participants brand management based on successful experiences of marketing management in the following companies: Geocell, Caucasus Online, Wissol, and Georgian lottery Company.

Lado Malazonia a former chief strategist at Windfor and currently head of strategy at JWT Metro will offer the participants in-depth study of data analysis.

Irina Egadze will introduce the participants all the necessary instruments for events management.  

The cost of the six-month-long course is 6000 GEL and also accepts scholarships. The Strategic Communications course offers 8 subjects and entails 80 sessions which will take place at Biltmore’s amphitheater.
