The shares of Kartli Wind Farm will be placed on IPO by Gslt&Taggart. This company was named as the winner of corresponding tender. Estimated procurement value was 150 thousand GEL. final offer made by Galt&Taggart was 95 300 GEL. One lari less offer was made to the procurer by TBC Capital, however, by the decision of the tender commission, the company was disqualified from the tender.
The tender commission concluded that despite lower price, TBC Capital team did not have the required experience.
According to the tender conditions, it is about placement of only 25% of securities.
“The difference at the final round of tender proposals was only one GEL. Yesterday the results were supposed to be announced, however, TBC Capital was disqualified due to lack of relevant experience.
Our qualification has already been checked in detail. In the letter, published on the web page, it is noted that Galt&Taggart has relevant qualification. We were sure about that,” – state representatives of Galt&Taggart.
Prime Minister of Georgia announced about offering of Kartli Wind Farm shares to the stock exchange. On January 27, 2017, the wind farm located in Gori was no more operating in test mode and was registered as a qualified enterprise. Accordingly, commercial operator of energy system buys 1 KWh of energy generated by the wind farm for 6.89 US cents.
