Total advertising revenue of Georgian TV channels amounted to 137.2 million GEL in 2018, which is 9.4 million GEL less than in 2017.
Out of total of gross revenues of Georgian TV Channels 48.9 million GEL is on GPB and 7.6 million GEL on Adjara Public Broadcaster. Accordingly, if the public broadcaster is removed from the list, since it’s on budgetary financing, the private TV channels revenues equalled to 80.7 million GEL last year, which is far less then that revenues earned by the private channels in 2017, precisely, in 2018, TV revenues have been reduced by 16.9 million GEL.
