In Georgia, incomes from tourism keep increasing. Within 6 months of the year, the country generated 1.36 bln USD of income from tourism.
According to the National Bank of Georgia, the biggest share of income was registered in June, which income made 325 mln USD, which is 22% more than last year.
Based on the information provided by the National Tourism Administration of Georgia, in June 2018, compared to June 2017, the number of tourists, visiting Georgia, increased by 21%. In June 2018, 299 989 tourists entered the territory of Georgia, while in June 2017, the number of tourists was 331 439.
