Over the period of 9 months of this year, the regular and charter flights of the airports of Georgia transported 3 199 063 passengers, which is 46.63% (1 017 380 passengers) more than within the same period of last year.

According to the information provided by the Civil Aviation Agency of Georgia, by the number of passengers transported by regular flights Turkish Airlines is the leader. Ural Airlines served 120 916 passengers in 9 months and accordingly the company’s share in total volume is 4%. Qatar Airlines took 3% of the market by transporting 96 050 passengers. Also 3% was taken by El Al Israel airlines, which transported 93 197 passengers. Pegasus served 97 046 passengers and also took 3% of the total volume of passenger stream.
