UN Women has named Ninutsa Nanitashvili one of the leading female innovators in Europe and Central Asia.
Ninutsa Nanitashvili was 18 years old when she became the first female to join the Google developers team.
After this, she founded Women Techmakers, a company that supports women’s involvement in the field of technology development.
26-year-old Nanitashvili is currently working with UN Women and is helping over 500 women from 5 different regions improve their digital skills.
“When I was choosing my career path, I couldn’t have imagined that I would end up in the fields of technology and engineering field. Many girls today also do not believe that they can succeed in this field .” – stated Ninutsa Nanitashvili.
