According to the data provided by the Oil Product Importers’ Union, in February, the amount of oil products (petrol and diesel fuel) imported in Georgia made 74,7 thousand tons, which is 3,6 thousand tons more than in January and 2,4 thousand tons more than in the same month last year.
In February 2018, 40,6 thousand tons of petrol fuel and 34,1 thousand tons of diesel fuel was imported in Georgia.
By countries, in February, the biggest volumes of petrol and diesel fuel were imported from Russia – 26,5 thousand tons, which makes 35,5% of total import, Romania – 17,3 thousand tons (23,1%), Turkmenistan – 13,9 thousand tons (18,6%), Azerbaijan – 8,9 thousand tons (11,9%), Bulgaria – 5,2 thousand tons (7,0%), Greece – 2,9 thousand tons (3,9%).
