Countries where people have most loans in foreign currency

The dollarization rate of total loan portfolio in the banking sector of Georgia makes 55%. By May 1st, the larization rate of total loans was 44,73%. In QII 2017, the volume of foreign currency loans made 57,7% of total loans.  

Within the same period, in different countries of the world the portion of foreign currency loans in total loans was as follows:

Armenia – 61.9%

Moldova – 40%

Turkey – 31.2%

Ukraine – 48.6%

Russia – 27.1%

Poland – 24.1%

Estonia – 0.7% 

Latvia – 19.4%

Lithuania – 19.4% 

Germany – 10.4%

United Kingdom – 57.3%
