Georgian Ministers’ Car Collection

The majority of the ministers in the cabinet do not have cars listed in their property declarations. The Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze himself doesn’t own a private car.

Among the representatives of the government, the mayor of the capital has a rather outstanding automobile collection. Kakha Kaladze owns 3 motorcycles, all three of which are HARLEY DAVIDSON brand, which in total cost him 73,000 EUR. In addition, Kaladze owns 6 cars: BENTLEY CONTINENTAL – in 2013 Kaladze purchased the car for 135000 USD; FERRARI GTO – which cost Kaladze 360,000 EUR in 2010; FIAT 500 BI POSTO – in 2016 Kakha Kaladze purchased the car for 50,000 EUR; MERCEDES BENZ AMG GTS – purchased for 145,000 EUR in 2015; MINI COUPER CLUBMAN – purchased by Kakha Kaladze for 40,000 EUR in 2017; MERCEDES BENZ VIANO – purchased for 40,000 USD in 2017.

As for the ministers, below is what their car collection looks like:

Giorgi Gakharia – Vice-Prime Minister, Minister of Internal Affairs

Giorgi Gakharia doesn’t own a private car, however, his spouse owns a Toyota RAV4, which was purchased for 22,000 USD in 2016.

 

Maya Tskitishvili – Vice-Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure.

Maya TskitiShvili has only listed one automobile in her property declarations: Mitsubishi Pajero, 2009, DKH 100, which she received as a gift in 2014.

 

Giorgi Kobulia – Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development

three vehicles have been listed under Giorgi Kobulia’s name: Porsche Panamera GTS – purchased in 2012 for 123,453 EUR; a Toyota Land Cruiser 200, purchased in 2008 for 83,000 GEL; MERCEDEZ E Coupe – purchased in 2014 by Kobulia for 2,140,148 Rubles.

 

David Zalkaliani – Minister of Foreign Affairs

David Zalkaliani has not listed any private cars in his ownership; however, AUDI A6 is under his spouse’s name.

 

Ivane Matchavariani – Minster of Finance

Ivane Matchavariani does not own a private car, however, his spouse owns a TOYOTA RAV 4, which was purchased for 24,000 USD in 2008.

 

Mikheil Batiashvili – Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport

Mikheil Batiashvili purchased a LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER VELAR for 83,000 GEL in 2018.

 

Davit SergeenkoMinister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs

Davit Sergeenko purchased a Toyota Prado AF311FA for 39,200 USD in 2015.

 

Levan Davitashvili – Minister of Environment and Agriculture

Levan Davitashvili does not own a private car, however, his spouse owns a Mercedes-Benz, which was purchased for 19,000 USD in 2016.

 

Levan Izoria – Minister of Defense

There are no cars/automobiles listed in the property declarations.

 

Tea Tsulukiani – Minister of Justice

Tsulukiani has not listed a private automobile; however, an AUDI Q7 2006 is under her spouse’s name.

 

Ketevan Tsikhelashvili – State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality

A Hyundai Tucson, 2008, is listed under Tsikhelashvili’s name, which was purchased for 21,500 USD in 2008.
