In July, 119,4 thousand tons of petrol and diesel fuel was imported in Georgia, which is 43,4 tons – i.e., 40% – more than in June.
According to the data provided by the Union of Oil Product Importers, in July, petrol import made 52,7 thousand tons and diesel import – 66,7 thousand tons.
By countries, in July, the biggest volume of petrol and diesel fuel was imported from Romania – 34,9 thousand tons (29,2% of all the import).
From Azerbaijan – 28,3 thousand tons (23,7%)
From Turkmenistan – 19,2 thousand tons (16,1%),
From Bulgaria- 19,0 thousand tons (15,9%),
From Russia – 10,8 thousand tons (9,0%),
From Greece – 5,3 thousand tons (4,4%),
From Ukraine – 1,9 thousand tons (1,6%).
In July, 13,8 thousand tons of bitumen oil was imported in Georgia, which is 0,2 thousand tons more than it was in June. Major part of this amount – 93,5% – was imported from Islamic Republic of Iran.
