Over the period of the first 8 months of 2017, Georgian internet providers generated income of 116 mln GEL. Compared to the same period of last year, retail income of the companies has increased by 9 mln GEL.
According to the data provided by the National Communications Commission, in August, the highest incomes through provision of internet services was generated by Silknet, which income amounted to 6,937,821 GEL; incomes of Magticom within the same period was 6,909,235 GEL, of Akhali Kselebi – 651,567 GEL. The income of Silknet within 8 months made 56 mln GEL and Magticom – 52 mln GEL.

Majority of the subscribers prefers optic fiber internet (449,549 subscribers); xDSL has 122,624 subscribers and Wi-Fi – 78,396 subscribers.
