According to declared data, in 2017 1,496 economic entities offered hotel services in the country, which collectively own 1,595 hotels and other forms of accommodation.
Forbes became interested in the question of which of these forms of accommodation offered the most expensive rooms in Georgia. In order to obtain this information, Forbes surveyed all of the 5 star hotels in Georgia. As it is well known, the price of hotel rooms changes according to the season; however, as it was revealed during the course of the survey, the most expensive hotel rooms during the winter months are located in Tbilisi.
The most expensive hotel rooms are shown for the dates of the 5th and 6th of January. The price of one room is given and include VAT at the exchange rate of $1 = 2.66 GEL.
