Last year, incomes of auditors and audit firms made 93,265,145 GEL. In 2016, 74% of all incomes were generated by top 10 most profitable audit firms.
According to the data provided by Accounting, Reporting and Audit Surveillance Service, incomes of top 10 audit firms, which have been granted with the temporary right to audit financial reporting of Public Interest Entities (PIEs), exceeded 63 mln GEL. Presently, in Georgia, there are 17 audit firms with the temporary right to audit financial reporting of PIEs.
