In Georgia, number of bitcoin users has increased by 400% in last 2 years. In 2017, compared to 2016 – by 130%.
In eMoney we were told that as from the next week, Georgian users will be able to also trade Litecoins and in summer the company is planning to add other cryptocurrencies to their services.
Nika Chilindrishvili, commercial director of eMoney says that in Georgia, bitcoin transactions are quite diverse – users conduct both major and minor transactions.
“Representatives of all the categories are equally active in this. There are people, who just buy cryptocurrency and wait until it becomes more expensive to then sell it; also, our users are people, who themselves accumulate bitcoins and exchange them for other currency through eMoney”, – states Nika Chilindrishvili.
Purchasing bitcoins with money, saved at eMoney, became possible in 2015.
