In May, number of real property registration transactions increased dramatically and made 70 532 all over the country. Compared to the similar period last year, increase made 51%. According to the data provided by the National Agency of Public Registry, compared to April, number of registration transactions increased by 19,7%. During the accounting period, number of primary transactions increased by 20,7% and secondary transactions – by 19,3%.
In May, number of primary transactions made 19 117, of which 13 693 were for registration of rights within the framework of the state project. Number of secondary registration transactions made 51 415, of which 8 511 were for registration of changes within the framework of the state project and 4 018 – for registration of changes within the framework of the state project.
As to the registration transactions of real property according to territorial units, Tbilisi has been traditionally the most active. Top ten is as follows:

Compared with the last year, the biggest increase was registered in Sachkhere, which made 744%. 361% increase was registered in Chiatura and 390% – in Terjola.
