Due to the sanctions imposed by the LEPL Competition Agency, 2.5 million GEL went into the budget.
During the 9 months of this year (January – September) 113.9 million GEL went into the budget from sanctions (fines and penalty), which compared to the previous year, marks an increase by almost 30 million GEL. The biggest share of the sanctions comes from administrative offenses.
Due to the sanctions imposed by the LEPL Competition Agency, 2.5 million GEL went into the budget. This is probably connected to the sanctions imposed on oil companies by the agency. This year, the agency reduced the fines imposed on the companies from 55 million to almost 3 million. The businesses have already started paying.
Fines imposed on offenses related to labor, health and social protection amounted to 1.6 million GEL.
Fines imposed for housing and utilities amounted to 650,827 GEL.
Due to fines imposed for littering and noncompliance with regulations related to clean environment, physical persons and legal entities paid over 532,000 GEL.
Penalties paid for violating the rules of public services and amenities of self-governing unit territories exceeded 113,000 GEL.
5350 GEL was paid in fines for damaging the image of self-governing units.
Administrative fines related to personal data protection came to 52,787 GEL.
Due to administrative fines related to offenses of noncompliance with the rules of public property 12,000 GEL was paid into the budget.
Fines for traffic violations came to 61,269,715 GEL, which compared to the previous year marks an increase of 20 million GEL.
Parking fines in the capital amounted to 3.9 million GEL. Fines imposed due to traveling without a ticket in municipal transports came to 418,000 GEL.
In trade and finance field, administrative fines exceeded 700,000 GEL
Administrative fines issued by the Inland Revenue Services exceeded 59,000 GEL
Paid fines imposed as a result of late payments on issued loans amounted to 1,192,716 GEL.
Due to the violations revealed in the architectural construction field, paid sanctions came to 3.7 million GEL.
